At the 40 Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS), which was held from October 14 to 18, 2019 in Daejeon, South Korea, Professor Kohei Cho received the ACRS special commendation. The ACRS is one of Asia’s largest international conference on remote sensing, and it is run by the Asian Association for Remote Sensing (AARS), a group of academic societies and space agencies in the region.

The award Professor Cho received was established in commemoration of the 40 year anniversary of the ACRS. It is given to researchers who have contributed to the ACRS for many years.
