Workshop on urban development around Makomanai Station from the perspective of disaster management and mitigation

An article related to this project was published in the Nov. 1 issue of Tokai University Newspaper.

Based on the experiences of the September 2018 Hokkaido Eastern Iburi Earthquake, there was a citizen-participatory workshop entitled, “Urban development around Makomanai Station from the perspective of disaster management and disaster mitigation” in Sapporo on October 6.

The event was intended to promote achievements in DITS/DIMS throughout Japan.

Poster exhibited at Bousai Kokutai 2018

We exhibited in the poster session at Bousai Kokutai (National Conference of Disaster Management) 2018held on October 13 to 14, 2018 and introduced the Twitter-based disaster information sharing system, DITS/DIMS and the Twitter-based disaster safety confirmation system T-@npi.

The event was held at Tokyo Big Sight and the Sona area (the Tokyo Rinkai Disaster Prevention Park), and it attracted approximately 12,000 visitors in two days.
